To Our Patients
At Central Coast Foot Clinics, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Providing you with a safe and healthy environment has always been first and foremost. We understand that there are growing concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). The updates and response to COVID-19 change rapidly each day. We are actively following CDC guidelines and the SLO County Department of Public Health. We have very strict safety protocols, but wanted to update you on our recommendations based on the latest CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines.
WHAT WE ARE DOING IN OUR PRACTICE TO HELP PROTECT OUR PATIENTS:
-
We have implemented screening of all our patients. Any patient experiencing symptoms or with a history of international or cruise travel within the last 2 weeks will be rescheduled based on the latest CDC guidelines.
-
Employees will take extra precautions to keep you safe.
-
Our facilities are being cleaned more frequently, paying special attention to waiting room areas, patient exam rooms, bathrooms, and door knobs.
-
We are instructing any of our employees who feel ill to stay home.
WHAT WE RECOMMEND FOR ALL OUR PATIENTS:
-
If you are feeling unwell (fever, cough, difficulty breathing), we ask that you stay at home, rest, and call and notify your primary care physician or 911 if symptoms persist or worsen. Please call and reschedule your appointment at your earliest convenience.
-
Upon entering either of our offices prior to your appointment, please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. We have hand sanitizer available at our front desks and will ask each patient to use hand sanitizer.
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Limiting this will keep you, and others, healthy.
-
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
-
Avoid shaking hands and hugging others to avoid the spread of any virus. Adhere to social distancing recommendations.
-
Know the signs and symptoms: fever, weakness, malaise, and shortness of breath. It is lower respiratory focused, not upper, like the typical runny nose/congestion symptoms.
Please feel free to call us if we can help in any way. We are here to answer any questions you may have or direct you to the appropriate resource as we all navigate through this situation.
WE TRULY APPRECIATE THE TRUST THAT YOU PLACE IN OUR TEAM AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.
