Cars
Santa Barbara High School parking lot, located 200 yards from the Bowl entrance, offers convenient and safe parking. For your safety, the following policies apply when parking at Santa Barbara High School.
- Parking is $15 per car - CASH ONLY.
- No alcohol.
- No amplified music.
- No loitering in vehicles or on foot.
- Parking lot closes 30 minutes after concert ends.
- The Santa Barbara Bowl and Santa Barbara High School assume no responsibility for theft or damage to your car or property while parked on the premises.
Accessible Parking
Customers desiring a reserved accessible space, please contact the Box Office at the Santa Barbara Bowl at 805-962-7411.
Directions
From North: Take 101 South to Santa Barbara. Exit Milpas St.-NORTH Merge right on to Milpas St. (away from the ocean). Travel approximately 1.5 miles up Milpas. Santa Barbara Bowl will be located on the right-hand side.
From South: Take 101 North to Santa Barbara. Exit Milpas St . Turn right (away from the ocean). Travel approximately 1.5 miles up Milpas. Santa Barbara Bowl will be located on the right-hand side.
Arrive Early: 90-minutes before schedule start of concert
Due to the historic design of the Santa Barbara Bowl, it is recommended that all patrons arrive early to ensure ease and comfort of parking and entry to venue.
Shh! Respect Our Neighbors
The Bowl is located in a residential neighborhood; please be respectful of our valued neighbors. Use the High School parking lot, park in legal areas, keep noise to a minimum and don't litter.
Rideshare & Drop-Off
Rideshare is an easy and green way to get to a Bowl concert. Whether ride-sharing with a friend or via Uber, Lyft, friends or a taxi — all drop-offs are the same.
Drop off ALL passengers on the corner of Milpas and Anapamu. Please schedule your approach to drive Northbound on Milpas (heading away from the ocean) to unload in the designated drop-off zone at Milpas and Anapamu.
The Santa Barbara Bowl strives to provide a spectacular experience to all our guests. Please adhere to the rules below so everyone can enjoy concerts together in a safe, fun environment.
Seating, Standing & Dancing
Please be considerate and neighborly to other guests and refrain from conduct that is offensive or physically dangerous.
- Remain in assigned seat or open public areas.
- Please do not enter restricted areas.
- Avoid standing or loitering in aisles and stairways as fire code regulations require they be clear at all times.
- Be considerate of guests who want to watch the show by not obstructing others' view.
- Dance in designated areas, such as the floor area when permitted.
Smoking
Nicotine products are only permitted in the smoking area of the Main Plaza.
Marijuana smoking of any kind (including vaping and electronic) is not permitted.
Food & Beverage
Only factory-sealed, plastic water bottles smaller than 1.5 liters are allowed. All other outside food and beverage items are prohibited, including:
- Glass bottles
- Cans
- Ice chests
- Picnic/food baskets
To purchase or possess alcoholic beverages, you must
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Present a valid driver’s license or approved identification card to appropriate Bowl staff.
- Wear the alcohol wristband at all times.
Photo & Video
Permission to record is left to artist discretion. Please check the Bowl's home page on the day of the concert for details on what the artist has approved. Unless noted, no recording is allowed. This includes:
- Photography
- Video Recording
- Audio Recording
Appropriate Dress & Restricted Items
Please dress appropriately and refrain from bringing potentially dangerous or illegal items to the show. To keep all guests safe, the following is prohibited:
- Bare feet
- Wallet chains
- Spiked clothing or jewelry
- Gang emblems or insignias
- Weapons or weapon-like devices of any kind
- Knives
- Mace
- Pepper spray
- Fireworks or sparklers
- Controlled substances
- Laser Pointers
- Balls
- Glow sticks

Lost & Found
The Bowl is not responsible for any articles lost or left behind. Any item turned in to the Box Office will be kept for 30 days.
Bike Valet
GET THE BEST PARKING!
Peddle to the Santa Barbara Bowl and receive complimentary bicycle valet parking right in front of the venue. Working in partnership with the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition, the program available at every concert mitigates traffic in the neighborhood by providing the staffing and expertise necessary for secure and monitored valet parking.
